Satellites: travel around a planet.

Comets: travel around the sun.

WHY ARE THERE NIGHT AND DAYS?

Because the Earth rotates on itself. (ROTATION)

It takes 24 hours = one day.

Its daytime on the side of the Earth that faces the Sun; on the other side it will be night.

THE SEASONS

The Earth travel around the Sun. (REVOLUTION)

It takes 365 days = 1 year

- WINTER: Short days. It's cold.

- SPRING: Days are longer. It's cold.

- AUTUMN: Day are shorter. It's cooler.

- SUMMER: Day are longer. It's hotter.
