AQUATIC ECOSYSTEMS: FRESHWATER AND SALTWATER.
FRESHWATER:
It is the water that is used for drinking or irrigating crops.
Are differentiated by movement:
- FLOWING WATER: Streams and rivers.
- STILL WATER: ponds, lagoons, lakes and swamps.
SALTWATER:
Are differentiated by the amount of light.
- COAST: Shallow area with lots of light.
There are multicellulare algae.
- OPEN SEA: They are deep waters.
There are unicellular algae.
