Ejercicio resuelto

Prehistory extends from the appearance of humans to the invention of writing, about 5,000 years ago. The three stages of this period are the Paleolithic, the Neolithic, and the Metal Age.

The Paleolithic began 5 million years ago. They grouped into tribes and were nomadic. They lived in caves or huts. They ate wild animals, fruits, and vegetables, and dressed in animal skins and made ornaments. They discovered fire and tools.

About 10,000 years ago, the Neolithic began. People became sedentary because they moved around, and the first villages emerged. Villages were protected by walls. They wore clothing and shoes made of animal skins. They discovered pottery, looms, and tools.

About 7,000 years ago, people discovered metals: copper, bronze, and iron. This allowed them to make tools, ornaments, and swords. Villages became secure, and warriors emerged. During this period, the wheel and the sail were invented.
